This tea is a production from a tea company called Xiaguan.

The number 8633 is a recipe code that describes the origin of the tea.

"86" means the blend was created in 1986, the "3" is the size of the leaf 1 being smallest to 9 the largest, and "3" meaning it comes from the Xiaguan tea factory.

Leaves from the "3" grade, means smaller leaves in size, bitterness and astringency is lower then most other Xiaguan productions.

This is a long brewer, it can brew multiple time either by teapot/grandpa or Gongfu cha /Gaiwan methods.

Very smoky, there is a peated scotch whisky character to the aroma and brew, the astringency is light and playful, bright with wildflower and dark fruit notes. The bitterness profile is on the fruitier side, like grapefruit imparting a mouth watering sensation.

Similar to other Xiaguan productions this tea rewards patience and mindful brewing, a complex meditative tea experience.
